How do I register for an account?

Because UWS offers courses on this site and in conjunction with our educational partners, the easiest way to register for an account is to choose the course you wish to register for, then follow the instructions on the site for that course. Each course description provides a link to the instructions for the respective site.

You can also review the Login Instructions for each site on the CE home page under Login and Registration Instructions.

I've forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

Each course site has different ways to retrieve or reset your password. Please refer to the Login Instructions for each site on the CE home page under Login and Registration Instructions.

I can't access my courses.

There could be many reasons why you are unable to access your courses. Let's troubleshoot some issues:

  1. Check the browser you are using. If you are using Internet Explorer, try loading the site in another browser, such as Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.
  2. Check your login information.
  3. Has it been a while since you registered for your course? You have 30 days from the date you register to complete your course. After those 30 days, you will be unable to access the course.
  4. Check your internet connection. All our online courses require a working connection.
  5. Try restarting your computer.

If none of the above actions allows you to access your courses, please contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

I registered for the wrong course.

Please contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

Where do I get my transcript?

To receive an official or unofficial transcript contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

How do I get a certificate for my courses?

Most courses will provide a link where you can download, print, or email your certificate after completion. If you cannot locate this link, or the link does not work, please contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

Is this course accepted by my state board?

On the CE home page, you can review a list of accepted state license boards under the UWS CE Accreditation Information link under the Resources section.

However, UWS recommends that if you have any questions or concerns about acceptable CE hours for your state or license requirements, you should contact the board for your state directly.

I found an issue with the content in my course. Who do I contact about it?

If you found an issue with the correctness or quality of the content within your course, please contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

Can I get a refund for a course I didn't finish taking?

All CE courses are non-refundable.

The video/lesson/quiz/content of my course doesn't work/load. What do I do?

There could be many reasons why items in your course may not be working. Let's troubleshoot some issues:

  1. Check the browser you are using. If you are using Internet Explorer, try loading the site in another browser, such as Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.
  2. Check your login information. Has your login timed-out? Sometimes, the system may log you out if you have not be active for a certain period of time. Try logging back into the course.
  3. Check your internet connection. All our online courses require a working connection.
  4. Try restarting your computer.

If none of the above actions fixes the issue, please contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

Please include the specific information about what issue you are encountering, such as which course, which item within the course, what browser you are using, and what exactly is not working or is happening.

If I take courses from different partner providers, will they all show up on my transcript?

Yes. The fee is $5 for an official transcript and no charge for an unofficial. Please allow 10 business days for processing after course completion. To request a transcript, contact UWS CE at ce@uws.edu.

Does UWS submit my CE hours to my licensing board?

No. UWS only submits the hours for the Minor Surgery and Proctology course directly to the Oregon Board.

Where can I see a list of the courses I am registered for?

If you have registered for courses on more than one of our CE sites, you will need to check each site for a complete list of the courses you are registered in.

I didn't finish my course within 30 days of registering. Can I get an extension?

Extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis. You will need to contact the UWS CE Department to get permission. Extensions needed for courses taken through partner providers would be at the discretion of the partner provider.

What are the technical requirements for taking an online course with UWS?

For a current list of technical requirements, please view the CE Online Systems Requirements PDF available on the CE home page under Resources.

Neither a speaker's or exhibitor's presence at said event, nor product mention or display, shall in any way constitute UWS endorsement. UWS's role is strictly limited to processing, submitting, and archiving program documents on behalf of course sponsors. BodyZone.com

BodyZone.com - Posture Practice Online seminars are presented in an engaging lecture with detailed focused motion exercise videos to teach clinicians how to progress patients through care. Our goal is helping the patient progress from:

  • AcuteCare (passive therapy + posture awareness) , and through
  • RehabCare (less passive therapy + increasing active rehab care training posture control exercises), and then onto
  • WellnessCare and coaching (daily posture exercises combined with periodic passive therapy to maximize the bio-mechanic benefits of all activities of daily living (ADLs) and other exercise)
The StrongPostureTM program builds postural awareness by teaching patients’ simplified postural bio-mechanics combined with a sequential progression of posture exercise along three tracks (Balance-Alignment-Motion) in a patient friendly, research based framework of bio-mechanical concepts.

Chiropractors, massage therapists, personal trainers, physical therapists and other professionals can learn to practically integrate passive and active techniques with a progressive protocol designed to strengthen posture and retrain motion. Strengthening a patient’s posture creates perceived value with demonstrably improved function as well as pain relief and injury prevention and also promotes continuing effective exercise to help people move, feel and be well.
